Raffi's Owl Singalong

Owl Singalong

by Raffi

For four decades, children’s troubadour Raffi has been the world’s best-selling and most influential children’s entertainer, delighting successive generations of kids and their parents with his playful personality and irresistibly infectious songs.

I was delighted to review Raffi’s new CD, as I grew up listening to his exuberant, playful songs and so have my children!

‘Owl Singalong’ was inspired by the owls near Raffi’s home on Salt Spring Island in Canada. This CD has some familiar tunes with new lyrics, as well as sixteen new songs. Raffi’s creative lyrics inspire playfulness as well as ecological awareness. My kids loved the rollicking spoken-word rendition of the beloved African folk tale ‘Abiyoyo.’

Joyfully recommended for the young, and young at heart!
