Dr Bronner's Soaps

Dr. Bronner’s Soaps

Family soap makers since 1858

Most people reading Holistic Parenting Magazine are not strangers to the Dr. Bronner’s name.

Their soaps have been long-loved by naturally minded people for years. Born into a soap-making family in 1908, Emanuel Bronner became the third generation certi ed as a master soapmaker. He brought his soaps to America in 1929 and began what we know as Dr. Bronner’s in 1948. The company is committed to social change and fair-trade practices and uses ethically sourced, organic ingredients. The company is vegan certi ed and never tests on animals. Along with soaps, Dr. Bronner’s makes lip balms, hair care (I LOVE the lavender hair crème!) lotions, hand sanitizer, shaving soaps, organic virgin coconut oil, a biodegradable cleaner, and most recently, toothpaste. Your can find the soaps in an array of scents (using only essential oils) and also unscented–perfect for little ones. Fluoride-free and made with 70% organic ingredients, Dr. Bronner’s toothpaste is awesome. It’s vegan, non-GMO certifed, NSF certifed and contains NO synthetic foaming detergents or synthetic flavors. I tried the Peppermint and Cinnamon and found them to both be great (they also offer an Anise flavor.) My husband and kids both like them, too!

We recommend!
